  • Ratio: 60g/L (e.g., 15g coffee to 250g water)
  • Temperature: 95°C+ for light roasts
  • Grind: Medium-fine

Steps

  1. Bloom: Pour 3x weight of grounds (e.g., 45g). Swirl to wet all grounds. Let bloom for 45s.
  2. First Pour: Pour to 60% of total volume (e.g., 150g) by 1:15 in circular motions.
  3. Second Pour: Pour slowly up to 100% (e.g., 250g) by 1:40 in the center.
  4. Agitate: Stir once clockwise and once counter-clockwise to clear walls.
  5. Swirl: Give the dripper a gentle spin as it drains for a flat bed.
